US Defense Agency DARPA wants to read people’s brains

It turns out that as of this moment, US defense research agency DARPA is working on a method to develop a technology to track, monitor and read human thought in real time.

They call the project ‘SUBNETS’, and it seeks to develop an implant to monitor signals of the brain in a level which was not possible to do with the earlier technology. This will give more advanced information regarding what’s going on in the brain to those who monitor it.

Although the agency says this is about monitoring neurology patients and delivering them treatments – presumably for the military veterans experiencing traumas after combat – the fact that the agency doing this is the defense research agency DARPA, raises questions.

They seek to achieve the results in 5 years.
